eonline.com "Fall TV Preview": Harold steals the pilot as Diana's father Charles, the man who does very bad things to Cassie's mother (oh snap!) in the opening scenes. Menacing, charismatic, cruel and focused, you can tell Harold is having a blast playing the guy you love to hate.

Like Harrington says, this is not fun, shiny witchcraft — and you’re gonna love it! Wetpaint Entertainment: So what can we say about what happens after the pilot? Adam Harrington: ... "And then, you realize seeing the relationship between Ethan and Charles that there's animosity there. There's some sort of dark history, Ethan being so broken and such a drunk. What you'll see as the series progresses is everything bubbling to the surface as to what's going on. The witchcraft is not happy. It's not fun, shiny witchcraft. People aren't painting their rooms with flying brushes. It's dark and it's bad".So for your character, what are we going to hone in on? "A couple of things. I think the audience is going to find out what exactly the history of the relationship between him and Charles is, why it's so bad".Do you know what that past is? "I don't know... That's a massive thing, to not know what happened to make you the character that you are.
I mean, Gale and I definitely figured out that our relationship in the past was probably somewhat better than it is now, and that whatever happened was bad. And when you know that, you've got animosity to play off of each other. As far as what happened, it actually kind of gives you a bit of freedom.
